The exhibition Polish Geometry / TRADITION x PRESENT shows works of artists from the mid-20th century to contemporary young authors. Fine art admirers can look forward to world-renowned names such as the Polish post-war author Kajetan Sosnowsky, who in many stitched paintings (compositions composed of sewn pieces of canvas) referred to an ecological content.
You can also discover the inner world of contemporary Polish artist Anna Osiecka. As the author herself says: “When painting a picture I discover new inner and outer territories, recognize myself and the world that surrounds me. With each step, hope grows and I move closer to the secret that lies somewhere beyond the horizon. "
The generations of authors at the Milan Dobeš Museum will bring together the essential art work of Wojciech Fangor, which he exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art and the Guggenheim Museum in New York. He was one of the founders of the Polish school of posters. At the exhibition Polish Geometry / TRADITION x PRESENT, Fangor's oil called Nr 33 from the 1963 Svetlik Art Foundation collection can be found.
